The remediation assignment for this class required that I take my repurposed memoir, and I change the form. This took a lot of deliberation. I was unsure of what direction I wanted to go in. I knew a project in which I could include audio from the performances I discussed was essential, but I could not decide how important visuals were. Finally, I decided that audio alone would be the most effective because a film required more visuals than I even touch on in my memoir. My end result is this podcast. It uses a lot of the same content as my memoir, but I attempted to make the language more conversational. Additionally, the most challenging part of creating this podcast was locating and recording over 10 years of vocal performances, and even childhood home videos. Once I had everything I needed, piecing the podcast together was quite fun. I hope you enjoy!
